An exchangeable, curved visor (1) is arranged in the front wall region of the hood (2). In order to achieve a gastight connection between the rigid component of the visor (1) and the flexible suit material (2) and to bring about a distribution of the loads occurring in the connection region between the visor (1) and the suit material (2), a spherically curved frame (6) is enclosed by an overlapping material frame (7) in the visor opening region of the hood, thus forming a fixed connection.
