PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in a conventional mailing device that it cannot have recorded contents when a movable storage medium encounters a state of a fault or reduction in the storage residual capacity or the like. SOLUTION: The mailing device is a voice mail device 20 provided with a carry-in storage medium 21 that stores voice data with respect to the contents between telephone terminals 3 and 4, is provided with a built-in storage medium 22 that temporarily stores the data before the carry-in storage medium 21 stores the speech data with respect to the contents, a storage discrimination means 31 that discriminates whether or not the carry-in storage medium 21 is in a state of able to store the data temporarily stored in the built-in storage medium 22, and a control means 32 that stores the data temporarily stored in the built-in storage medium 22 to the carry-in storage medium 21 when the storage discrimination means 31 discriminates the storable state.
