PURPOSE:To equalize element-junction temperatures, by using fins different in radiating effect as cooling fins to touch elements at an inlet and an outlet with wind blown by a fan, when a stack is composed of flat semiconductor elements, surrounded by a wind tunnel, and provided with a cooling fan at one end. CONSTITUTION:Flat thyristors 1, 2 are stacked by placing a cooling fin 8 at the center and cooling fins 7, 9 on both sides. The next thyristors 3, 4 are also stacked by placing a cooling fin 11 at the center and cooling fins 10, 12 on both sides. The next thyristors 5, 6 are also stacked by placing a cooling fin 14 at the center and cooling fins 13, 15 on both sides similarly. They are established in series with the aid of insulating spacers 16, 17, and contained in a wind tunnel 27. A cooling fan 28 is provided outside the thyristor 1. In this constitution, the fins 7, 9, 10, 12, 13, 15 increase their thickness sequently, and so do the cooling fins 8, 11, 14 touching on both sides. |
