PURPOSE:To surely control fuel pressure automatically in a portion of at least an operational range, by absorbing action of a diaphragm in the ooerational range of unstable displacement in the vicinity of its displacement start through operation of a plunger spring. CONSTITUTION:Fuel, flowing into a pressure regulating chamber 4 from an inlet pipe 1, is controlled to constant pressure by tension of a coil spring 6, pressing a diaphragm 9, and fed to a fuel injection valve from an outlet pipe 3. The protruding part of a plunger 16 is set at a face-to-face position to a surface in the pressure regulating chamber 4 side of a center disc 10, and a plunger spring 17 is housed internally of the hollow place of the plunger 16. While the plunger 16 is pressed to a stopper 19 by the plunger spring 17. Further an operating distance G is provided between the plunger 16 and a valve body 11, then an unstable operational range of the diaphragm 9 in the vicinity of a displacement start point can be excepted to perform correct regulation of pressure. |
