PURPOSE:To prevent the out-of-focus, by providing a switch which is opened in the auto range and is closed in the manual range and operating an automatic focusing circuit to focus a lens when this switch is opened and driving automatically the lens into the automatic range when the switch is closed. CONSTITUTION:When an operation button is depressed, a switch S0 is interlocked with this depression to turn on, and power is supplied to a converter U1. A voltage boosted by the converter U1 is applied to integrated circuits IC1-IC3, and a line sensor and range finding circuit are operated, and a range finding signal and a set range signal are compared with each other. That is, the subject distance is measured by the line sensor, and measured distance information is inputted to the integrated circuit IC3 to obtain a digital value as the range finding signal. Meanwhile, information of contact switches S11-S6 formed with a code plate 4 and a brush 5 are inputted as set range information to an input terminal 14 of the integrated circuit IC2 by outputs of output terminals 8-13, and set range information and range finding information are compared with each other. |
