PURPOSE:To enable to safely deal with abnormal condition, in an engine using both liquid and gaseous fuel, by shifting operation mode setting device from gaseous fuel to liquid fuel operation condition with the signal from abnormal detecting sensor. CONSTITUTION:Under gaseous fuel operation status where fuel is supplied from gaseous fuel supply tube 8, and also limited small quantity of liquid fuel as necessary for ignition is being fed, if abnormal condition for the continuation of the operation such as abnormal exhaust and suction air temperature, reduction of gaseous fuel quantity and increase of gaseous fuel concentration in the engine room, occurs either of abnormal signal (a) to (f) will be issued from either of the sensors 7, 10, 11, 22, 25, and 26. The signal passes through returning circuit 30 and enters operation mode shifting circuit 31 and indication circuit 33, and shifts each operation mode setting device 6, 9, 16, 17, brings engine to the liquid fuel operation mode by closing the by-pass valve 6 and cutoff valve 9 and making pump device 16, 17 to discharge liquid fuel for required quantity and reduces discharge of operating oil to zero. |
