<p>The boiler consists of a pressurised enclosure (1) made up of a tank (2) with a bolted-on lid (3). A heating coil (6) is installed within the enclosure having an inlet (5) and an outlet (7). The coil is partially submerged, the water level being maintained constant and heated by a gas burner (8) below the tank. The water level is maintained at about two-thirds of the tank depth by injection of water from a reservoir (15). This water is heated by steam passing from the boiler through the safety valve (10). A high pressure safety valve level gauge (12) and wafer level gauge (13) are also included.</p> |
