<p>Electronic components are mounted on tape strip for use in an automatic circuit card assembly process. The electronic component (1) is held in a profiled element (3) that ensures that the correct orientationis maintained. The element has projections (4,5,6) that are secured to two strips of tape (8,9). Relieved sections(10) allows the unit to be separated from the tape when the assembly station is reached. Here the component is extracted and automatically inserted in the card.</p> |
