PURPOSE:To unnecessitate the step for washing a mold releasing agent and ensure that a only one time coating step is required, by a method wherein a mold releasing agent applied to the mold surface is wiped off leaving an extremely thin film, then a solution-type coating material is coated to a required part of the mold surface, and after foaming a liquid urethane material in the mold, an overcoating material is applied while the solution-type coating material is in a partially cured state. CONSTITUTION:The mold releasing agent is coated on the inside surface of the mold 1, then the agent on the mold surface corresponding to the surface of a product is wiped off leaving an extremely thin film, and if required, a masking member 2 is applied. Subsequently, a film of the solution-type coating material 3 is applied,the masking member 2 is removed and a film of a solution-type coating material 4 having a color different from that of the coating material 3 is produced. Then, after pouring the raw urethane liquid into a cavity 6 and foaming it, the molded article is removed from the mold 1 and, while the solution-type coating materials 3, 4 are in the partially cured state, a urethane-based overcoating material is coated thereon to obtain the desired product. |
