<p>A mechanical connection between an electrical tubular heater and a metal surface to be heated, esp. the inner wall of a bakery muffle furnace, is effected by a high-temp.-resistant adhesive to bond the heater to the wall. Pref., this adhesive (16) is a silicone adhesive having good thermal conductivity, esp. contg. a thermally conducting filler. In a variant, where the tubular heater has a triangular section, one side of the triangle is closely adjacent to the wall with a thin layer of the adhesive between them. The installation of a tubular heater in this way is extremely simple.</p> |
