<p>In a biological process and an apparatus suitable for this for the production of methane gas from agricultural waste products by means of anaerobic bacteria in a cylindrical reaction vessel (1), gas from the head space (2) of the reaction vessel (1) is added via the line (8) during the supply of waste products via the pressure line (6). The introduction of waste product and gas is carried out by means of an injector nozzle (7). During the supply of fresh waste product from the collection pit (10), withdrawn liquid is added from the reaction vessel (1) via the line (15). A circulation of liquid waste product from the reaction vessel (1) via line (15), pump (13), heat exchanger (16), pressure line (6) and nozzle (7) is possible in order to establish optimum reaction conditions and to mix the contents of the reaction vessel (1) thoroughly.</p> |
