PURPOSE:To prevent the decrease in sound pressure, by making the thickness of adhesive layer to a given value or less, in a transducer in which a plurality of macromolecular piezoelectric films are bonded with adhesives. CONSTITUTION:Polyfluoridevinylidene piezoelectric films 1, 2 having thin film electrodes 1a, 1b, 2a, 2b are bonded with adhesive layer 3. when a voltage from a high frequency power supply 6 is given between electrodes 1a and 2b, ultrasonic waves according to the pulse are produced. In this case, the lowering in output sound pressure can be made within 3dB, by making the total thickness of adhesives of bonded element less than 30% or less of the entire thickness of the element. |
