PURPOSE:To enable to compensate the electron beam as well as demagnetization with one device, by locating a plurality of coils for magnetic force production formed in 8-shaped closed loop coils and coducting them. CONSTITUTION:At the upper and lower stages of the funnel 2 of the color cathode ray tube 1, a pair of magnetic force generating coils 3A, 3B formed in 8-shape in advance are arranged and fixed in parallel with the horizontal axis of the cathode ray tube 1. When AC current is applied to both the coils 3A, 3B, demagnetization can be made for the tube 2 and the shadow mask. Further, when a DC current flows to both the coils 3A, 3B, the electron beam P can be moved left and right with the magnetic force of lines on the funnel 2. |
