Solar heat powered desalination system - with inverted siphons joining transparent dome to condensate tank and sea-water supply

A totally enclosed container (1) of transport material (e.g. glass) is fitted with a gutter (4) to collect the condensate which is taken through an inverted siphon (7) to a storage container (8). Seawater enters through the outlet (9) of the pipe (10) with the inverted siphon (14) and with a valve (12), con rolled by the float (13). A non-return valve (17) is fitted to the highest point of the siphon (14). A pressure release valve (20) is added to the dome (3) of the container. The device operates over long periods free from maintenance and without extraneous energy input.
