PURPOSE:To firmly connect a strap and lugs by brushing each lug so as to form brushed grooves in the direction of lug immersion into strap forming molten lead alloy. CONSTITUTION:Lugs 1A, 2A are brushed so as to form brushed grooves in the plates 1, 2 immersion direction into strap forming molten lead alloy 14 poured in a strap forming mold. The lugs 1A, 2A are immersed in the molten lead alloy 14 to form straps 6, 8, and at the same time, the straps 6, 8 and lugs 1A, 2A are bonded together to connect plates 1, 2 with the straps 6, 8. When lugs 1A, 2A are immersed in the molten lead alloy 14, the molten alloy 14 rises along the brushed grooves 15 from the molten alloy surface 14A by wetting action, and fillets a are formed in the joints of the lugs 1A, 2A with the straps 6, 8. The cross-sectional area in the joint of the strap and lug is increased and firm connection can be obtained. |
