PURPOSE:To provide a fiber-reinforced thermosetting resin pipe itself which is light, strong, and constant in outer diameter, of which wall thickness at both ends is large and that at the center part is small to prevent a pipe inner diameter from becoming large at both ends of the pipe, and which provides the maximum bending moment, and also provide its manufacture. CONSTITUTION:A self-releasing material 2 is arranged over an area ranging from a center part to both end parts of a metallic mandrel of a specified outer diameter, fiber-reinforced thermosetting resin prepreg is wound and laminated around the mandrel on which the self-releasing material 2 is arranged so that its outer diameter is brought to a constant and cured and formed, and the core of the metallic mandrel 1 is removed and the self-releasing material 2 is removed. Thus fiber-reinforced thermosetting resin pipe of which outer diameter is constant, wall thickness at both ends is large, and wall thickness at its center is small, and in which reinforced fibers are arranged axially and circumferentially at thick wall parts at both ends of the pipe for reinforcement can be obtained. |
