PURPOSE:To obtain a very small size dot printer with little dispersion of the gap of each electromagnet and high efficiency by providing steps in the coil frame of the electromagnet so as to determine the maximum gap between a plunger and a fixed core with the steps. CONSTITUTION:A plunger 14 with a step 14a and an electromagnet with a coil frame 12 on which a coil 11 is wound and which has on its inside a step 12a provided to be pressed against a part of the absorbing surface 13a of a fixed core 13 by a pressing spring 17 and a step 12b against which the step 14a of the plunger 14 is to thrust are used. The stroke of the dot striking surface 19a of a printing lever 19 becomes a value the lever ratio times the stroke of the plunger 14 and the maximum gap of the plunger determined by the steps can therefore be made very small. |
