PURPOSE:To reset automatically the tape counter at the tape end only when the memory counter function is not designated, by switching the switch to control activation of the reset circuit. CONSTITUTION:When switch 34 is connected to contacts 345 and 346, the memory counter function is designated, and pulses from pulse generating circuit 13 accompanied with tape running at the rewinding time and so on are counted down; and when the count value becomes zero, the output signal from IC18 is applied to terminal 35 of control LSI31 through switch 34, and tape recorder mechanism part 12 is set to the reproducing or stop mode according to set conditions. In this case, the stop control signal from automatic stop signal generating circuit 14 at the tape end is applied to reset circuit 19 through switch 34. Automatic reset of circuit 15 is inactive. Consequently, the tape counter is reset automatically through switch 34 at the tape end only when the memory counter function is not designated, and malfunctions of the memory counter function are prevented. |
