The child's scooter comprises a frame (1) having a platform provided with an upright tube (2) for fitting a saddle. The assembly includes a pedal-operated chain (3) to drive the rear wheel, (5) so that it can be used as a bicycle. The pedal shaft bearing (4) is secured to the saddle tube which provides a strong mounting able to stand up to the stresses generated by the most vigorous pedalling.
