PURPOSE:To improve heat resistance and corrosion resistance of heat resistant alloy, by laying a heat resistant alloy contg. principally Ni and Co in packing material mixture of specific composition, then by heating it in a nonoxidizing atmosphere. CONSTITUTION:A mixture comprising Al powder, halogen compound, 0.1-5wt% mischmetal powder and the balance being inert carrier is used as packing material. As said inert carrier is used e.g. Al2O3 powder, and as said halogen compound is used chloride e.g. NH4Cl powder. Base or Co base heat resistant alloy is buried in the packing material and is heated at high temp. for diffusion to form a coating layer of high Al content on the surface, hereby oxidation resistance, corrosion resistance are improved. |
