The switch and dimmer control includes a right angled front plate to cover the operating parts behind the centrally located on/off dimmer control combination. In the centre of the front panel (9) is a large area switch (1) for the internal tumbler switch (2). Below the switch (2) is the thyristor and potentiometer circuit unit (3) for the dimmer. The potentiometer shaft (4) rises through the switch section (2) to the top control knob (5). In the central switch area are located screwless wiring terminations (6). A limiter ring (7) is located on the potentiometer shaft (4) in the switch section to control the degree of rotation of the dimmer.(DS).
