PURPOSE:To obtain a standardization of parts for multi-typed engines, by determining a trigger generator and distributor of a device in accordance with the type of the engine. CONSTITUTION:When a trigger generator 1 is rotated, two changes of magnetic flux are generated at every rotation of a trigger coil 2 to produce a pulse V1. Said pulse V1 controls a timing control circuit 3, and controls a switching circuit 4 to control an ignition primary current I1 and obtain a secondary voltage V3 simultaneously with its turning off. Said secondary voltage is distributed to surrounding electrodes 8a-8d in accordance with its firing position and successively discharged to a spark plug. A distributor 7 is arranged its rotation 1/2 for a rotation of a crankshaft, and a rotor of the trigger generator 1 mades two revolutions per one revolution of a rotor of the distributor. |
