PURPOSE:To perform the strobe photographing of distance- or aperture priority freely by providing a light emission quantity setting circuit and a light emission time control circuit and selectively operating these. CONSTITUTION:A sign pin group 34, guide number pins 35, 36, mode select switch 37, main switch 38, charging completion display body 39, charging check switch 40 and light emission quantity display body 41 are provided to the strobe device 23 which is removably mounted to the camera body 15. As a result of this, when the strobe device 33 is mounted to the camera body 15 while the guide pin 43 is being fitted into the guide hole 43, then the sign pin group 34, guide number pins 35, 36 and mode select switch 37 are connected to the sign contact group 25, guide number contacts 26, 27 and contact piece 28, respectively. As the mode select switch 37 is changed over, any of guide number controlling, automatic strobe controlling and dim signal controlling is selected and the distance priority or aperture priority is set, thus the strobe photographing may be accomplished as desired. |
