PURPOSE:To reduce a number of processings and to enable mechanization, by filling slits cut at a bending portion with thermoplastic resins and softening the said portion for bending when bending a plate. CONSTITUTION:Slits 17 are provided in parallel in a plate 15, to which a faced sheet 16 is adhered, being used for a processing performed at a bending portion of a cabinet of a television set. The slits are then filled with liquidified thermoplastic resin 18. In a bending process, a bending is performed in such a condition as causes the thermoplastic resin to be softened, said portion being then cooled for solidifying. The product can thus be formed by keeping said portion in a bending condition as it is. |
