PURPOSE:To reduce current consumption by turning a step motor only within a fixed time by providing a driver circuit which generates a fixed number of pulses for a fixed period of time at every one minute and then by driving the step motor by its output signal. CONSTITUTION:Driver circuit 20 for step motor 11 consists of oscillator circuit 21, divider circuit 22, one-pulse generating circuit 23, and AND circuit 24. The period of pulse (a) obtained from divider circuit 22 is set to one minute, and that of pulse (b) to ten seconds; when signal (b) reaches level ''1'' while signal (a) becomes ''1'' in level, one-pulse generating circuit 23 detects that to obtain signal (c) equivalent to one period of signal (b) and the signal is inputted to AND circuit 24 to obtain a driving signal. As a result, a motor is turned only for ten seconds within one minute, current consumprion is reduced and a large output can be generated only for ten seconds |
