PURPOSE:To stabilize the speed of idling by comparing an engine rotation speed in an expansion process of each cylinder at the time of idling and an average engine rotation speed of all cylinders for correcting a fuel injection volume of each cylinder so that the former speed comes close to the latter speed. CONSTITUTION:Whether the operation state is in idling or not is sensed from an engine revolution speed, a throttle valve opening degree, a car speed, a starter signal and etc. by an idling sensing means. If the idling is sensed, the engine rotation speed in an expansion process of each cylinder is detected by an individual cylinder speed detecting means, while at the same time, an average engine rotation speed of all cylinders is detected by an average speed detecting means. Then, the engine rotation speed of each cylinder and the average engine rotation speed are compared by a correcting means to correct the fuel injection volume of each cylinder gained by an injection volume computation means so that former speed comes close to the latter speed. |
