<p>The motor vehicle towing bar consists of a round-section shank (1) secured to the rear (4) of the vehicle which has a neck portion leading to a ball head (3). The shank and/or neck portion is curved so that the ball head points upwards. At least the curved portions of neck and/or shank has a flattened surface on one or both sides parallel to the bending axis. The flat may be produced by cold or hot pressing, or forging, or by cold or hot rolling before bending, or during bending.</p> |
