PURPOSE:To obtain compatibility with other VTRs by according a track pattern in still recording to that in normal recording even when the rotational radius of a head is equalized to that of normal VTR. CONSTITUTION:One terminal part 21A of beltlike electrostrictive element 21 is fitted to head substrate 23 by adhesive 22 while head 11A is fitted to the other terminal part 21B by an adhesive and between element 21 and substrate 23, damper material 24 is provided. In this case, the polarization direction of element 21 is so selected that when a voltage is applied to element 21, head 11A will move corresponding to the polarity and level of the voltage as shown by arrow 25. |
