<p>The matting cover for mine support applications has longitudinal rods at one end of which is a hook bent down and backwards. At the other end is a transverse rod joining them together. Two mats can be joined together by the hooks. The assembly so made resists tension. The mat can be fixed near the roof. The transverse rod (10) is in contact with the rear(8) of loops (5) formed by bending the longitudinal bars (3). The bent ends (15, 16) of the hooks are engaged in these loops which are rectangular shape.</p> |
