A system and a method for continuously providing a ring back tone are provided to update an end point of sound source data by a start point of a ring back tone provided to a caller during continuous call attempt and supply the ring back tone to a terminal of a caller, thereby enabling the caller to listen to the whole sound source continuously which is provided as the ring back tone. A service information storage(220) stores service information including sound source identification information of sound source data corresponding to a ring back tone. A sound source provision information storage(230) stores sound source provision information including a play end point of the sound source data. A service providing unit(240) detects sound source provision information corresponding to a call connection requester, and provides sound source data corresponding to the ring back tone from the play end point of the sound source data corresponding to the call connection requester to a communication terminal of the call connection requester. The service providing unit updates a play point of the sound source data of an end point of the ring back tone section, provided to the call connection requester, by the play end point of the sound source data included in the sound source provision information corresponding to the call connection requester.
