The towing attachment for the tractor hitch has the towing jaw (23) on a slider (26) which moves vertically between two side walls (32) with guide slots (35). The jaw is raised and lowered by an integral hydraulic ram and has lower attachment arms for the lower parts of the hitch. The system enables the user to couple to different working attachments with drawbars and couplings at different heights. A minimum of manual effort is required to complete the tow.
