PURPOSE:To allow the outputting of results in a short period of time by preparing DNA (nucleic acid) fragments of a specific assembly and labeling the same with fluorescent materials of various fluorescent wavelengths. CONSTITUTION:One chain DNA 1 inserted with the DNA fragment for determining the base sequence is respectively separately annealed by using 3 kinds of the fluorescent primers 2 to determine the synthesis start point of the complementary chain. Substrates 3 for synthesizing DNA are then synthesized from the respective primers 2 with enzyme as a catalyst. The DNA fragments 4 corresponding to the kinds of the dideoxynucleotide of the substrates 3 are synthesized at this time. The contents of these DNA fragments 4 are supplied to the electrophoresis gel 6 of the kinds 1.(W+X), 2.(W+X+Y+Z), 3.(W+Y) indicating any of the respective nucleic acid bases A, C, G, T by W-Z and the sepn. and development are executed by the gel 6. An electric field is applied to the gel 6 and the fragments 4 move while arraying in the order of the sizes of the mol. wt. during the application thereof.
