PURPOSE:To reduce the power consumption and noises by arranging a temperature detecting element at a position, where an overheat is liable to take place, so that the blowing operation of a cooling fan may be controlled in accordance with the temperature detected. CONSTITUTION:There is arranged in the drive power source circuit 2 of a cooling fan motof 1 the thermal switch 3 of a thermostat which acts as a temperature detecting element and which has its conducting characteristics preset at such inconducting lower limit as invites no trouble against a fixing mechanism and at such a conducting upper limit as invites no overheat trouble against the respective portions. On the other hand, the thermostat is attached to such a suitable position as is liable to invite overheat due to the heat radiation of the heat source in the copier, e.g., in the vicinity of the center of the holder 6 of contact glass 5 so that a proper control can be effected. Thus, it is possible to obviate the spare consumption of the power and the generation of noises. |
