The ventilating system is used for electronic equipment units placed side by side of stacked. Cooling air is blown over the entire width of a fan rotor. The arrangement has drum rotor driven by a motor. The fan blades (8) are fitted on the external rotor of the motor (5). This external rotor with blading is enclosed by an air ducting housing with air inlet and outlet openings along the motor axis.
