The endless ink-ribbon cartridge is fitted with a roller [spool] (15) which drives the ink ribbon, this roller being fitted with rubber rings (22, 23) which have a greater friction coefficient than that of a pressure element consisting of a leaf spring (27), the ribbon being inserted and compressed between the roller (15) and the spring (27).
