The cylindrical electrochemical battery (1), has a first electrode of hollow cylindrical shape and given polarity. It has a second cylindrical electrode of opposite polarity to the first. The second electrode being contained inside the first. Between the two electrodes is a separator. The separator consists of a woven wire hollow cylinder. The wire is of glass fibre with a helix weave and i practically non-extensible. The separator in a state of largest-diameter and smallest length is slipped over the second electrode them stretched out so as to grip tightly the electrode. The whole being mounted inside the first electrode.
