The radiation diagnosis instrument is used for producing transverse plane images of the patient. The radiation source generates beam penetrating the investigation object at right angles to image plane. The radiation intensity is scanned on the other side of patient. The radiation beam and detector can be rotated about an axis at right angles to investigated layer plane. An X-ray tube and image amplifier are situated on opposite sides of the patient table. The amplifier is connected by video equipment to viewing instrument. The patient rolling table is moved by control system to ensure the required image.
