<p>Dipping of cakes of raised dough, for making a type of rum Baba, is effected in a machine which very largely reduces the amt. of human intervention needed. Each operation has its own module. The frame, made in one piece, supports the vertical or inclined racks which guide the cakes. A regulator for removing the cakes from the rack to the conveyor belt, of the rod type, slides backwards and forwards on the runners under the influence of the rack (b) and pinion; this drives the conveyor via the chain when actuated by the hydraulic jack. Elimination of hand dipping saves costs and leads to a more regular finished prod. All the other processes are programmed to synchronise with this operation.</p> |
