The wide band amplifier has a high output resistance and is connected in series with the output terminal (A1). Between this terminal or a tapping on the resistance (R5) and a second output terminal of the amplifier unit (TS1) at which an inverted signal appears (1) a compensating capacitor (C2) is connected. The circuit provides a max. degree of linearity of gain with frequency, and is suitable for test work, e.g. in testing t.v cameras, requiring an output signal varying linearly with input over a very wide frequency range, taken across a high output resistance with frequency characteristics adversely affected by stray capacities.
|
