1490306 Indazoles BAYER AG 28 Oct 1975 [13 Dec 1974] 44299/75 Heading C2C The invention comprises compounds of the formula where Y is alkoxy, alkylamino or dialkylamino, R is H or methyl, R<SP>1</SP> is H, methyl or formyl and R<SP>2</SP> is 1, 2 or 3 substituents selected from H, alkyl, alkoxy, nitro, amino, alkylamino, dialkylamino, acylamino, alkoxycarbonylamino, halogen, trifluoromethyl, cyano and alkoxycarbonyl and salts thereof. The compounds may be prepared by reacting a compound of the formula with a compound of the formula Y-CO-X or R<SP>6</SP>NCO, where Y is OR<SP>3</SP> or where R<SP>3</SP>, R<SP>4</SP>, R<SP>5</SP> and R<SP>6</SP> are alkyl and X is halogen, or, if Y is OR<SP>3</SP>, the radical -O-COOR<SP>3</SP>, in the presence of inert organic solubilizing agents and, if appropriate, in the presence of an acid-binding agent and thereafter, if appropriate, in a further reaction step the amino group in the 3-position is formylated with formic acid or methylated with formaldehyde in the presence of formic acid. The compounds exhibit analgesic, antipyretic and antiphlogistic action. |
