The system has a fan and an ion generator mounted in an air passage, via whose outlet a current of air with unipolar ions, preferably negative, is delivered into the closed space. The system is used in conjunction with a television receiver, and the outlet is adjacent to the screen of the latter, being aimed in roughly the same direction. One of the walls of the housing accommodating fan and ion generator, at right angles to the outlet, can be fitted to a wall at right angles to the television screen, allowing it to be mounted immediately adjacent to the latter. |
