<p>A control device for an electric motor delays stopping of the motor following a suitable signal until a desired number of cycles has been performed. It can be used with windscreen wiper motors which are required to stop at fixed end positions and to execute several cycles sufficient to disperse the screen washing fluid. One supply lead is directly connected to the motor and the other is connected via two devices, one for switching the motor on and the other with two selectable delay paths. The driven element is connected to one of two epicyclic gears whose relative positions control the transfer from one delay path to the other.</p> |
