<p>PURPOSE:To maintain the quality of water to be treated within an acceptable range by estimating the concentration of organic matter in contaminated water flowing into an air-exposure tank on the basis of residence time in a first settling basin and the concentration of organic matter in an inflow contaminated water calculated from a measured value of an inflow contaminated water quantity and a sludge quantity returned from a second settling basin to the first settling basin.</p> |
