Radiation absorptiometer for fluid analysis - with sample container urged by pressure device in opposite corner of carrier chamber

In a (light) ray absorptiometer or turbidimeter for the analysis of fluids, the container carrier has a rectangular chamber, open at the top, of larger dimensions than the container with the specimen fluid. One corner of the chamber has a pressure device which urges an inserted container towards the opposite corner of the carrier chamber. Two openings in the chamber have windows to transmit the light rays. This results in a compact ring with small overall dimensions. It can be assembled from interchangeable modules and requires a min. of maintenance. Containers of a great variety of sizes can be inserted.
