PURPOSE:To eliminate the undesirable influence generated due to an end part by dividing a dot font into plural fonts, combining each adjacent dot font and performing a special processing thereto, and also, fetching its intermediate part, connecting it and forming a special processing logogram character. CONSTITUTION:A dot font expanding part 2 reads out a dot font from a dot font memory 3 by a command of a logogram control part 1, expands it to a buffer 4, divides dot fonts of every character into plural areas, respectively, generates a connected dot font of a one-character portion by connecting the dot fonts related to different characters in the divided dot fonts, and performs a special processing. Subsequently, an intermediate part of the dot font to which the special processing is executed is fetched, and by connecting it, it becomes the dot font related to a logogram character. In such a way, a contour line, etc., generated in the connecting end of the font at the time of the special processing can be eliminated, and an inconvenience in the connecting part can be obviated. |
