<p>This invention relates to a structural part for a structural arrangement. The structural part includes a collapsible closed frame formed of at least one substantially rigid and at least two resiliently flexible frame elements, joined end to end. The frame operatively carries a flexible sheet element which, in an operative erect configuration of the structural part in which the frame is erect, spans the frame. The structural part is biased under the resilience of the resiliently flexible frame elements into its erect configuration and permits collapsing, against this resilience, into a compact storage configuration by performing a twisting and folding operation on the frame. The structural part, when operatively carrying a flexible sheet element, is suitable for use as a banner-type display device or may form a part of a structural arrangement such as a gazebo, a vehicle shelter, and so forth.</p> |
