PURPOSE: A device for automatically controlling volume of a device of announcing an arrival in an elevator is provided to reduce a noise of operation of the elevator at night after selecting the time control of a timer and distinguishing daytime and night time. CONSTITUTION: An automatic device of controlling volume is composed of a timer for enabling a user to control and select the operation time of a circuit by regular time unit, a first relay for outputting the regular sound of a chime bell when a face is up and down and a second relay for leading the contact of the timer at night and outputting the initial output of the chime bell sound by connecting to the chime bell through a regular variable resistance. If a relay for the night is operated, power is supplied to the chime bell through the relay and variable resistance. Herein, the chime bell outputs a sound smaller than the chime bell sound output at night as mush as passing through the variable resistance since a circuit loop is formed if a cage up or down signal relay is operated.
