<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel electrode material capable of reducing a resistivity of the fuel electrode easily and inexpensively in order to improve output of a solid electrolyte fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: This is nickel oxide powder used as a constituting component of the fuel electrode, and contains a metal compound which is a compound of at least one kind of metal selected from group 5A element and which becomes oxide at calcination in fuel electrode manufacturing. The metal compound of the group 5A element is preferably V<SB>2</SB>0<SB>5</SB>, Nb<SB>2</SB>0<SB>5</SB>, or Ta<SB>2</SB>0<SB>5</SB>, and the content against that nickel oxide is preferably 0.1 to 2 wt.% of V<SB>2</SB>0<SB>5</SB>, 0.1 to 5 wt.% of Nb<SB>2</SB>0<SB>5</SB>, and 0.1 to 7 wt.% of Ta<SB>2</SB>0<SB>5</SB>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
