PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of a stepping motor with a lead screw used in an actuator for a variety of OA equipment and AV equipment, while improving the torque characteristics and reducing vibration and noise. SOLUTION: In this stepping motor, an inner yoke is constituted of a small diameter section 25 and a large diameter section 27, so that a coil assembly 22 and a magnet 23 can be located so that they do not overlap each other in the axial direction and an outside diameterϕD of a stator can be reduced, and thereby the size can be reduced. Furthermore, by fixing an installation board 14 and the stator, the concentricity and the fixed positional accuracy of the two stators and the installation board 14 can be increased and high torque, low vibration, and low noise can be realized.
