PURPOSE: To provide a stereoscopic image of high image quality with a stereoscopic image photographing device of a simple structure. CONSTITUTION: A scanning mirror 16 can move on the optical axis 15 of an image formation optical system 10 in (A) direction and to rotate in (B) direction. This scanning mirror 16 sends the light from a subject 18 to the image forming optical system 10, while moving. In this case, the light from the subject 18 can be always directed to the image forming optical system 10 by appropriately rotating the scanning mirror 16. A plurality of images having parallax each other are thus sent to the image forming optical system 10 in time series so that a stereoscopic image can be formed based on these images. |
